More About Mrs. Laassah
Currently...
Mrs. Laassah D. Taylor-Marshall currently serves as the Choreographer of Dance Teacher at Coit Creative Arts School in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Artistic Director of the Arts at Revolution Culture Movement. She has designed and developed cutting edge Dance Ministry Programs for local churches and organizations, specializing in building character and self-esteem in any individual she comes in contact with. Mrs. Laassah developed and designed programs in Pre-Ballet/Ballet, Modern, and Jazz Classes at the Salvation Army Kroc Center and has provided platforms for her students to share their gift of dance within our community. Festival of the Arts, The Annual Mixing Pot Event, Bi-Annual Recitals, Symposiums, Church Ministry programs and organizational events throughout the country. Mrs. Laassah enjoys working with diverse communities, and giving to those who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
My Passion...
My heart and passion comes from the sincere love and dedication I have for God. I believe that true balance comes from maintaining a personal relationship with him. My passion for dance began as a little girl, but my passion to use dance as a tool to build character and self-esteem became important when I started creating choreography through God's eyes.
What's Next...
Mrs. Laassah has earned an Associates Degree in Applied Arts & Sciences/Fashion Merchandising from Grand Rapids Community College, completed the Devos Urban Leadership Initiative Program sponsored by the Amway Corporation/DVUL. She is also a graduate of Chic University of Cosmetology; currently continuing her education in pursuant of a BA in Performing Arts & Theater Degree.
